The Journey
Steve's career in technology began at Gordian (1994–2002), where he seized the opportunity to build and run an entire IT department from the ground up — managing Unix, Solaris, HP-UX, IRIX, AIX, Windows, and MacOS infrastructure across the organization.
At Edelbrock Corporation (2003–2018), Steve rose from IT Manager to Director of Information Technology and member of the Executive Leadership Team over 15 years. He led transformative initiatives including Salesforce Service Cloud deployment, Oracle ERP upgrades, Magento e-commerce integration, VMware virtualization, Azure cloud migration, and a new manufacturing plant buildout.
At Carro (2019–2024), Steve served as Technology Advisor to the C-Suite before becoming Director of Technical Operations for the collaborative commerce platform, specializing in IT/Business strategy alignment, infrastructure planning, and continuous improvement.
Today, Steve leads Ingenmente full-time, with Pandoblox as an ongoing client engagement. Drawing on experience across manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, e-commerce, SaaS, and technology startups, we help organizations solve their most complex technology challenges.
Why "Ingenmente"?
The name is drawn from two Latin roots: ingenium — innate genius, the origin of "ingenious," "ingenuity," and "engineer" — and mente — mind, the root of every Romance language's word for thinking. Together they form Genius Mind.
It reflects a core belief: every technology challenge has an elegant solution waiting to be found. The work isn't just about deploying systems — it's about applying creative, rigorous thinking to problems that matter.
Philosophy
Ingenmente is built on a simple principle: hands-on execution, not just advice. We don't deliver strategy decks and walk away — we roll up our sleeves to deploy databases, stand up cloud services, build teams, and push projects across the finish line.
With a USC Engineering foundation and a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree, we combine deep infrastructure expertise with modern data science and AI capabilities. When we bring in specialist subcontractors, they meet the same standard.
